Classic Filterstorm was supported for years with many many updates and features added on without ever charging. Filterstorm Neue was a complete rewrite, took months of work, and therefore I felt it reasonable to charge for it. Neither app has ever cost more than $3.99. These are advanced photo editing tools that you’re getting for something like the price of a latté. It is also my only source of income, I’m not running a charity, I need the money in order to pay my mortgage, etc, and I need the money in order to keep working on apps. I cannot afford to update apps that don’t make me the money to justify it. If you find the price is too high, then you are not obligated to pay it.
