Filterstorm Update

Filterstorm 1.0.3 came out today, and brought much needed speed improvements. I also submitted 1.0.4, which is probably about where I should have been a week ago for iPad’s launch. This means work begins on 1.1; finally I get to work on new features.

All this work has kept me from posting anything photography related here in some time, but I do promise I’ll get back to that once things settle down a bit.

You’re Welcome!

And thank you for downloading! Being number 24 (right now) in the top 100 free iPad apps is a rather surreal experience for me. It’s all thanks to people like you!

Features

Didn’t know where else to post so I thought here might be ok?

One feature that would be just great is a graduated ND filter tool the same as in Adobes Lightroom!

Being in the UK the iPad isn’t out just yet so have you thought about extending the free period so everyone in Europe can get to down load this great looking tool?!

Cheers

Simon

You can get a similar effect by brushing on the sky’s exposure as in the tutorial at http://filterstorm.com/tutorial.tai but that said, I do understand that sometimes you want that clean fade that a graduated ND filter gives you.

I’ve been thinking about the free period, and I haven’t yet decided when it will end. However, you don’t need an iPad to take advantage of it. You can go to the app store section of iTunes and download it now!
